The Holy Land Project: Ann Madsen Interview

The Project

There are many reasons I could list why I am doing this documentary on the Holy Land, but the one that stands out to me is the fact that the BYU Jerusalem Center for Near Eastern Studies and the experiences that came with being a part of the program changed and deeply touched me and others. In the months I've spent debating the relevancy of the project and whether or not I should take it on I have talked to former students, faculty, directors, and administrators of the program and I receive the same reaction every time; excitement and enthusiasm. There are stories that need to be told-that need to be shared with others. I believe that the experiences forged in the Holy Land are among those stories.
